VTNE® Annual Awards
About VTNE Annual Awards
The AAVSB proudly offers two awards annually to Veterinary Technician National Examination candidates: the VTNE Celebrating Diversity Award and the VTNE Program Director’s Award.
VTNE Celebrating Diversity Award
The AAVSB presents the Veterinary Technician National Examination Celebrating Diversity Award to one graduating veterinary technology/nursing student. This student must come from a traditionally underrepresented group in the veterinary technician profession.
We select the award recipient based on their commitment to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion while treating everyone with respect and dignity. The AAVSB announces the award recipient on May 15th and provides a VTNE exam voucher for their VTNE online application.
The application deadline is March 31st annually, and applicants must be enrolled in an AVMA-CVTEA or CVMA accredited program at the time we select the recipient. Please complete this form, and then send the completed form, supporting documents and videos here.
