About RACE®

The AAVSB’s Registry of Approved Continuing Education (RACE®) program develops and applies uniform standards for veterinary medicine continuing education. Our goal is to support the AAVSB Member Boards by ensuring that all RACE-approved continuing education programs meet appropriate standards of quality.

Veterinary professionals widely recognize RACE-approved continuing education programs as quality courses that help them meet licensure compliance obligations. Providers voluntarily apply to the RACE program and agree to abide by the RACE Standards. The RACE program reviews and approves programs but does not provide accreditation.

Enhancing Continuing Education Tracking with CE Broker

The AAVSB is utilizing CE Broker, the worldwide leader in continuing education tracking software, to enhance our services. By using CE Broker, the AAVSB provides increased functionality and accessibility to Member Boards, RACE providers and licensees alike.

The AAVSB is and will remain the sole owner of the RACE program and its continuing education tracking product.

The AAVSB and its Member Boards will use all licensee data shared through the RACE program solely to verify CE for licensure renewal and for any additional purposes agreed upon by licensees with their individual RACEtrack accounts.
